POULTRY REGULATIONS Diane Hamaker • Superintendent 1. All poultry to be exhibited must be free of clinical signs of any infections or contagious diseases. 2. Registered, purebred, crossbred poultry and fowl of all breeds are eligible to show. All breeds show together. 3. Each exhibitor is limited to TWO entries per class. 4. All poultry must be in place by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010. Blood tests will be done from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. 5. All poultry must be owned by April 1 of the current year with the exception of the market class exhibits. 6. No certificate of Veterinary Inspection is needed. 7. All birds will have a Pullorum Typhoid test. There will be someone there when you check in that will perform this test for the exhibitors at no cost. 8. Exhibitors will furnish their own pens for their animals. 9. Exhibitors will be ENCOURAGED to take the general knowledge test prior to the show. 10. Exhibitors may leave at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5th and will be allowed to return on Monday, September 6, 2010 for the premium sale. 11. Registration blanks must be filled out on poultry as on all other livestock. Exhibit tags must be in place on the cases. 12. EXHIBITORS MUST CLEAN THEIR PEN AREAS BEFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED THE LEAVE. |
